Hypnosis is a valuable tool that can be used for a wide range of emotional and physical issues. This includes cigarettes, alcohol and, in some cases, harder drugs. I know from personal experience and hypnotists and practice self-hypnosis. The trick is finding a highly qualified hypnotist. Some psychotherapists and psychologists hypnosis practice. They are usually more skilled and experienced people who just hypnosis. Also, look for someone preferably who is certified by the NGH (Association National hypnotism.) It would also help a lot to get a personal reference from someone who was helped by the alcoholism of a hypnotist determined. You have many questions, and I will try to answer many of them as possible. I'm not someone who studied to become a psychologist or social worker, or something similar to what I'm guessing you are. I am a person who suffered abuse in some way as a child. I no longer feel the need to be ashamed or be in hiding because of this. Therefore, here are my answers to your questions: (1) Do most victims of "child abuse" suffer "mental breakdown" or "exhaustion nervous "in his youth? (Answer) Yes, in my experience. Both my sister and I were victims of abuse. It was through mental breakdowns, never able to leave my mother's side. I would say he had a nervous breakdown, fears people know what happened to me. Do not talk to anyone. (2) Suppress memories (reply) Yes and No, again we have two people who went through the same thing, my sister My sister and I remember everything, but she does not want. On the contrary I can recall some of the bad, a lot of good, and almost nothing before the age of 7 years. (3) Why and how? (Response) This is difficult to answer. Why did the repression of these memories? I think because they were so bad and I felt so ashamed that I did not want to remember them. How so, well, I do not really know how it works mind. (4) how this affects them later? (Answer) For some, like me, I never usually think about it, as when I was a kid. Out of sight, out of mind. But, as some say, there are triggers, which can cause a bad memory, and when that happens I feel sick to my stomache. Otherwise, a life normal. (5) Ever normally improve? (Answer) I think I've grown enough, both the age and maturity that have "improved". Not only have I forgiven the person who hurt me, but I have forgiven myself. It really can be happy for others. I do not feel quilt or shame about the past. Occasionally I would feel some anger, but not anger or hatred. Although I have forgiven the person who hurt me, I am no friend of this person. I've come to accept that this person will never "Get Better ". It will never be a decent person. (6) who have never been under hypnosis, but I've been to counseling (7). I would not say I feel the whole experience all over again. But as I said before, sometimes something that can cause poor memory. This experience will make me whole situation once again, it just make me remember a bad feeling and makes me nauseous. (8) also, that age can usually happen in the first (response) This confuses me. Abuse can occur at any age. As young or as old as possible. I think however that you would have to be a kid to remember it. Any abuse in my opinion is going to cause some discomfort and problems in their lives as they grow. (9) how do you develop differently from other children? and ways to grow your brain? interaction with others, etc? (Answer) I can not speak for everyone who has been abused. There are many types of abuse. In my case, made me more withdrawn from people, then I used to be. I still was nice but not as outgoing and willing to take the first step. My brain was not damaged (physically), I did great in school (grade wise). As I got older I still recall a shy person. (The healing process) I have grown as these things have happened to me. I've learned to forgive both the person who hurt me and forgive me. I learned that I can talk to other people without fear of rejection. I am married (happily for almost 3 years). I'm still moving abroad very soon! Life can be good. I went through a lot of bad things, had a difficult time, but I had a family of friends who really cared about me there to help.

I have an addiction. I was doing research on alcaholism, pornography and drugs. In every single program, especially the 12-step program has religious prejudices can turn non-religious faiths or otherwise away from seeking help. So I was wondering is there a program other than doing it yourself, psychology / psychiatry, cold turkey, or hypnosis? This is only a research on programs.
I am a heroin addict in recovery. I've been in the program for 14 months. I was introduced to the twelve steps a few times before it actually I decided to really throw it. The reason why not to enter a twelve step program any good is because the measures it contains the word of God in them. I grew up in a strict Christian home. Religion was literally beat me. So naturally, I have a lot of dislike for organized religon. Christianity in perticular. I once received a sponsor and began to enter the process of the steps, I realized that is not religious based. It is spiritual. I choose any concept of God. Not have to be Christ, Buddha, Allah or God-based religion. The steps that say "The God of my understanding." For the God of my understanding has no name. He is a spiritual energy that is very powerful. He is a God of love, compassion, and not "get that God" will not bring down lightning on me or hurt me. My God is a God of love and truth. AA and NA is a spiritual program. It is also a therapy group. A place where I can go and get some tips from those who have been where I am. It is a form of psychotherapy. The only difference is my room ful of therapists (memebers of AA) speaks of love and his own personal experience. If a therapist or psychiatrist who is talking some things he / she has read in some textbooks. How can I advise you in love if I've been in love? How can I teach how build a rocket if they have never built a rocket? I tried for years and many different ways to quit. I have made many times heroin cold turkey. Drugs are not the problem of addicts. Our minds are. The way we face life / stress, how our minds race and spin. The lack of control our thoughts and behaviors. We used drugs to medicate. to numb our minds from our fears, anxietys, anger, pain, depression. I was skeptical about the programs of 12 steps. Now I think it should be taught in schools. The 12-step program allows you to let go of the past, do not fear the future and teaches us how to live a life with an immeasurable amount of peace and tranquility in our minds. Without peace and quiet in our minds, we self-medicate. I have also had people I know try hypnosis. Did work for a minute. The only way a 12-step program that works is that you approach it with an open mind, who are honest and ready. O.penmindedness H.onest W.illingness. How I faces 30 felonies, to a divoricce, I lost my job due to the state for leaving a treatment center, lost the respect and trust of my family and friends. He became a liar to hide my problems. But more importantly, he lied to me and I had lost the love and respect myself. 14 months later, I have all my family and friends, I even advice. I have a great job. The best part is that I have peace and tranquility in my mind and now the love and respect myself. So, to answer your questions. From someone who was a skeptic and became convinced that there was a God, and hates religion. AA is not religious based and was the only thing that has worked for me and thousands of others thousnds. Positive Thinking Hypnotherapy – sounds like a term out of a science fiction novel. There is nothing remotely fictional about it, really, and if the practice positive affirmations, or saying positive things to say out loud to himself, then you might get an idea of what positive thinking hypnotherapy is all about. This method can be very effective in helping to overcome fears or phobias, resolve self-esteem problems, or give up destructive habits and addictions, drug abuse and smoking, respectively.
Tan or positive thinking hypnotherapy is not deserving of the bad reputation, really.
Positive thinking hypnotherapy is more specific, using the power of positive thinking to instill in you an optimistic attitude. The idea is to reprogram your thoughts, actions and reactions so that they can see the positive side to every situation more clearly and act or react accordingly, even when your mind is on autopilot mode.
This means you automatically gravitate towards the positive, even when they are not aware of it. This will help you become calmer and more concentrated when faces a potential problem, and therefore more attuned to the possibility – no, it's inevitable – a solution.
When you think positive, everything else just seems to fall into place. Or, you can find other ways to make them fall into place (or very close to it) because his positive approach is simply not allow you to wallow in defeat and surrender.

I got the privilege of working in a Medical Respiratory Intensive Care Unit of a large hospital, tertiary, replacing a friend who took a leave of absence for giving birth to her first child. If you've never been in an ICU may be a bit overwhelming at times, as patients who are severely ill need constant attention. Other Hospital units allowed for nurses in the service of four or five rooms, but in the ICR was never more than two patients RN assigned to anyone, and often only one.
I provided spiritual care to patients with a variety of medical conditions. But there was a hidden factor that had not had the vision. Little after arriving I saw a pattern. Looking through the medical records in the computer system, it was clear that alcohol is a major player in this unit.
Some people had cancer, some had respiratory disease, but to my surprise, half to three quarters of patients in the unit was a striking coincidence of alcohol. For some it was the alcohol, for others it was the regular use. For others it was the alcohol in combination with other drugs such as cocaine and heroin. But it was always alcohol. Even if the patient had been admitted to a heroin overdose, as was the case of a young woman, her story begins with the alcohol.
The Patient Care Manager in the unit told me that alcohol was a dangerous and toxic. She told me a story about a young which it claimed was a "serious alcoholic", so much so that when presented with the fact that he would die without a liver transplant, elected continue drinking rather than changing their habits. The doctor told him clearly that without treatment for his alcoholism, not be placed on the transplant list. The doctor's statement made no impact. His mind death addicts chose not to drink. The manager also told me that they had to treat patients for alcohol poisoning before that could cater for other medical problems.
"We received so many suicide attempts and almost always related to alcohol," he said. "We to have the spirit of his first set before doing anything else. Perhaps a patient needs chemotherapy, but you can have with your body full of alcohol. They go through the withdrawal and we have to deal with than the first. "

There are a number of addictions that almost everyone knows, the best known is that of drugs, alcohol, etc. (the addiction to substances) and those for gambling, shopping, etc (aa addiction behavior or activities). But have you heard of what is known as "Internet addiction". Well there really is an addiction, one of the negative effects of the Internet, despite all its other benefits.
In some ways, Internet addiction is the same as other activity or behavior of addictions. Internet addiction starts with the occasional use of the net progress and gradually the use of technology in dysfunctional (abnormal) ways. Is the belief of some that are spending a lot of time on the Internet as the core of the disease, but it is not as important as a factor in how the network usage is interfering with normal daily functioning – with school work of the person, employment or social life. In the end, there have been cases where the person enters in Internet chat rooms for people with serious illnesses and pretending to be afflicted with the disease in particular only to attract attention or get sympathy.
There are no known reasons why a person becomes addicted to the Internet, but several theories have been proposed. One theory considers placed in a position similar to a compulsive shopper who feels a sense of pleasure when he or she goes on spending spree – driving to the mall, go to a favorite store, control of a credit card, etc. For the addict to the Internet, supposedly to get a similar feeling of euphoria when you boot your computer, connect to the Internet and goes to your favorite websites. Another theory is the theory that a person can have a gene or gene combination that makes a person more susceptible to addictions as well as genes that affect the vulnerability of people with alcohol.
It is also possible that the use of the Internet could be reinforced by the thoughts and feelings of pleasure as well as having characteristics of an addiction to activity. Although the concept of an addictive personality is suspect, there the possibility that a person who has an addiction may be prone to addiction to another, including the use of the Internet.
There may also be family reasons for addiction. For example, a person can surf the net to lock herself in a family dispute. Social or peer pressure can also cause excessive use of the Internet. The lack of social skills that allows a person to meet someone else could lead them to a meeting of people online. Trying to imitate the behavior of others could also start the addiction. The interactive use of the Internet appears to be a more likely cause is likely to lead to addiction.
Another twist to the issue is whether this kind of addiction is just one example of the use of assistive technology to other addictions. One such activity immediately comes to mind is the online game. Yet another is to shop online instead of going to a mall. It must be decided on whether Internet addiction is a pure form of addiction.
Some of the symptoms of Internet addiction include Internet use for an excessive period of time, lack of sleep, decline in grades, work performance, fatigue, apathy, and racing thoughts. False statements can be made about the time spent on the Internet also may be some of the symptoms related to Internet addiction.

Previously, identified as Internet addicts were labeled as youth, social misfits, introverts and male-oriented team. However, the widespread availability of computers has changed that concept. However, it seems addicts can be seen in any age group with any kind of discrimination based on race, color, creed, gender or education level etc.
Currently, this type of activity has not been officially treated strictly as a form of addiction, but some of the criteria has been established to treat it as such. These include: – Concern over the Internet, – Need more time online to feel satisfied, – Failed attempts to reduce the use Internet, – Feelings of anxiety, depression, irritability, when away from the computer, and the – Repeat spending longer time on the Internet.
At present there is little or no specific treatment for this type of addiction, as it has not been officially recognized as one. Withdrawal from the Internet is recommended by some, others think it may be completely realistic cut the use of the Internet. As computers are here to stay and have infiltrated all aspects of life will be difficult to avoid using the computer. But as Internet addiction has a strong resemblance to another activity based on the treatment of addiction also follows the same line.
Given that Internet addiction can affect the student's academic status or employment status of an individual who has to be treated. But better safe than sorry, especially in cases of addiction and it is best to avoid overuse of the Internet. And the best way is to participate in other activities social outside the influence of the Internet. More research is needed to do to find ways to utilize new technologies instead of waiting for leave to bring some sequelae.
