PPL do some sexually abused as children remember?

I remember listening to a radio program with a doctor in him and think he once said that some ppl who are sexually abused a young age in a block out of your memory … Is this common? or at least possible? Is it better for a person sexually abused at the age of say 10 or 11 to completely block it from his memory conscioius. If so any symptoms you know this? Like the high anxiety in ages later, dislike of physical contact, asexuality, to some extent. At what age should probably remember that abuse or something like hypnosis, etc need to trigger? any ideas? thanks

Yes, very possible. My ex-BF used to hypnotize people do not (as in hypnotism act comedy gibberish, but as in the surgery under hypnosis taking species) and with the consent of the person being hypnotized, I was often allowed to attend / help. I had a lady who had been sexually abused by a neighbor when she was 6. After it was brought to the surface was able to remember further, but the emotional aspect took almost a year to fully address. However, if you or someone you know wants to deepen this and find out what may be hidden, there are some precautions first. 1). Is you willing? The body / mind decides not to remember to protect ourselves. It is a defense mechanism. Some choose to leave it as just a thought if it arises push it back and move on. I am one who believes it is better to know, however everyone is different, and it is a decision that must be carefully thought out. No turning back once the door has been opened. 2). While you can always download scripts off the Internet for self-hypnosis by googling 'self-hypnosis scripts "a). you will probably need to modify / adapt for this purpose (not too hard to do), b). must decide if you really want to do this alone (ie, record own voice reading the script back to you.) In my opinion, especially for something like this, I'd go to a professional hypnotist at least the first time, or at least has a very reliable friend read the script for you. The professional is suggested as they know what they are doing (just make sure they are trusted), and because while in the state of hypnosis you do not feel too conscious of himself with a stranger, and is deeply trusted friend suggests that only once more, if they are deeply of confidence and if you think you will be able to share something that intimate with them.
